Battle Network 4 is the best one and I'm tired of pretending it's not
>>743345371who am i to judge, some people are into bn4, some people are into scat porn, who cares
Nah. It's mogged by 3 in every way.
BN4 is the X5 of the Battle Network series, in other words it's total shit.
>>743345371the fucking gold butterfly quest makes it instant dogshit
which one is the worst quest from bn4 for you anons? mine's dex with chisao.
>>743349820The one in Africa with the fucking teleporter maze, laziest game design possible.
BN4 was a masterpiece of fecal matter. We've seen many bad games but this game is almost unique in how its flaws perfecty completent each other.Yeah, translation is bad, but the original story is awful anyway. The whole gameplay is boring busywork? Don't worry, you also have to replay it three times!
>>7433507762003 was an extremely cursed year for Capcom. In that one year we got DMC2, Dino Crisis 3 and Mega Man Battle Network 4. It was so bad they had to cancel several projects and almost completely rethink their business strategy. If that sounds familiar it's because the same thing happened to them 10 years later.
>>743345371We'll see about that. Jacking on.
Dude, I was so fucking hype for BN4 during pre-release. The corocoro images of the souls was sick and I couldn't wait to jump in. Then I did.
>>743352349Here's some terrifying facts: Mega Man Battle Network 4 is the second best selling game in the entire franchise, it had two special GBA SP bundles (one for each version of the game), and the game was ruined by a focus on competitive multiplayer.
>>743345525Why would you use X5 when X7 is right there?
BN4 has>normalnavi and heelnavi fights (only game in the series with them)>best overworld>most iconic navi fights (shademan, laserman, numberman, searchman, napalmman)>nanako>dating simulator with mayljust admit it's goated
>>743352715>focus on competitive multiplayer>which barely even existed in the west for these games (at the time)Fuuuuuuck>>743352778Not him, but I'd guess "ambitious ideas, but shit execution".
