The sweat and movement during longer gaming sessioms destroys every single one of my chairs. This chair is only 8 months old and already reeks of a smell and is badly tearing up. Any advice? Also What other problems do you gamers go through while gaming?

With the amount I use to sit I went and bought a new 2k leather steelcase chair.That was ~7 years ago and that chair is still going strong.Sure the upfront cost was oof, but by now my $/hour is well below 1$.

buy some cheap linen clothes, they will make you sweat less, and you can make a seat cover from it. I took a linen shirt, removed the back with some scissors and sew it to make a full seat cover
