Did you like Naoto Oshima's follow up to Sonic 1?

I fucking love Sonic CD. Yeah I know its level design is as tight but I really appreciate exploring around the level for level ups and going back in time to destroy the holograms and the replicators then going in to the future to breeze through the level. I think the bad future being a punishment if you're not paying attention is pretty good too. Its jp OST is also top tier.
