You know you can almost kind of forgive them for the bewildering choice to do this. The FPS renaissance was only maybe a few years old at that point, you had, what? Shadow Warrior 2013? Wolfenstein New Order? Doom 2016 had just barely come out. Dusk was just on the horizon.
