First played Dead Money in 2013, and everytime I replay it, my playstyle never changes.

>Slime out Christine, Dean and Dog/God
>Trap Elijah's retard ass in the Vault after sneaking out 37 gold bars up my asshole
>No fucks given about the backstory of the Sierra Madre nor Sinclaire and Vera
>Absolutely zero lesson learned
I don't want to 'let go', the only thing I want is a way out of this god forsaken casino so I can safely store the gold in my Lucky 38 Presidential Suite, generously provided to me by our Lord and Savior, Mr. House.

>'We hope you enjoyed your stay at the Sierra Madre!'
No. No I did not.

I do this in the Ulysses dlc. I mentally say "you got the wrong guy m8" when he's on his rant and it makes me think the dlcs are terrible.

I've played FNV like 20 times and I've never touched the DLC content.

It is genuinely bad because they try to shoehorn a different rpg subtype into each dlc and it doesn't work because the game wasn't designed as they subtype of rpg.
People tend to dislike them because of the heavy handed moral lesson the devs try to shove down your throat via the subtypes of rpgs the game wasn't built around.

>obsessing over the gold when the real treasure in Dead Money is the vending machine and its codes
>>
>>743377534
I always save Dog and Dean and kill Christine, but not before I make sure she's tortured and traumatized by shoving her down into the switchbox first.
>>
>>743377786
The DLC for NV is pretty meh tbqh, except for OWB which is aggressively shit with bullet sponge enemies
>>
>>743378031
And the shitton of pre-war money you can get out of gambling.
>>
>>743377786
As much as I love New Vegas, I'd struggle to call any of its individual DLCs particularly good. They each have their strengths but overall, they leave a bad taste in my mouth. Honest Hearts doesn't get enough flak, if it wasn't for Joshua Graham and the Desert Ranger armour, nobody would like it.

>OWB
overpowers you with all those implants. And the base is the best one.
>>743378358
>HH
The most boring area and quests.
>>
>>743378358
Well also the survivalist and his rifle but yeah
>>
>>743378525
Shit, I forgot about Randall Clark. Him too.
>>
>>743377786
They're not very good if we're being honest. Dead Money has the best setting and story but certain builds will have a very bad time with it. OWB is fully Reddit. HH is short but mostly whatever. LR has a cool area and new gear but that is all.
>>
>>743378358
OWB's bullet sponge enemies were annoying as fuck, but atleast you get to turn your Courier into Robocop with all the implants.
>>
>>743378603
>OWB is fully Reddit.
Those penis jokes were so fucking stupid and they kept going, and going, and going.
>>
>>743377534
What the fuck does slime out mean
>>
Dead money>OWB>LR>HH
Honest hearts is pretty and all but overall it feels a bit empty, and is carried by graham.
>>
>>743378813
Kill. I think it meant fuck at one point too. Zoomer nogsense
>>
>>743377534
>Slime out
You were a toddler in 2013, kill yourself.
>>
>>743378603
>>743378787
OWB is fine as long as you treat it like Borderlands 3 and mute the audio any time someone's talking.
>>
>>743378824
I think I might put HH top because it can be very short if you want and so doesn't outstay its welcome. I also quite like Zion.

>>743378787
It was fine for its time in the early 2010s but that comedy aged like milk.
>>
>>743378852
I'll make sure to use 'PWN' instead to accodomate your decrepit ass, oldfag.
>>
>>743377534
>slime out
don't ever say that here again.

Dead Money is the only New Vegas DLC worth playing (although I never got around to Lonesome Road because Honest Hearts and the queer science facility were so fucking shit).
>>
>>743378970
Getting butthurt at people mocking you for using retarded slang that you have to use because the censored shithole you doomscroll on won’t let people say kill is the gayest thing possible. Go back faggot.

Honest Hearts: Lacks any real choice in decision-making. There's no reason to not side with Graham. There's no reward from the Legion for killing him. Daniel is still upset even when you side with him. At least Zion is fun to explore... until you memorize the locations of the Desert Armor and the Rifle.

Old World Blues: If you like Rick and Morty, then you'll like this. If you like MMO fetch quests, then you'll like this. If you use the term "gameplay loop" unironically, then you'll like this.

Dead Money: The challenge of this DLC is invalidated by taking Light Step and/or Solar Powered. The lesson is pointless because there's nothing in-game that the player needs to really "let go" because of how easy it is to earn caps in the game's broken economy. Not being able to talk to Veronica about Christine, not seeing Dog/God at Jacobstown, and not seeing Domino at The Tops breaks immersion.

Lonesome Road: I actually really like this DLC, but I accept that everyone's complaints about it are legitimate. I can see past the problems because I recognize and agree with what Avellone was doing with the script.

One thing I will say on OWB is that Dala's voice is pure heaven. I love listening to her speak

the dlcs are fine and the opinions people post about them are all nearly fucking insane.
the biggest difference between them and the base game is that they're all much more combat heavy and generally thinner on story and character based questing.
>>
>>743377534
Literally the best part of the game new vegas in general is overrated as shit

Only played new vegas once and only thing i remember about this DLC is having like 9 or 10 INT, ton of skill points and maxing out unarmed just so i can beat the shit out of the ghosts with my fists

OP types and plays like a nigger. Shocking.
