it was fun at first but I pretty quickly just started spamming the abilities that summon books and automatically shelve them. I wish there was a game with a similar premise but a lot more mechanics and variety

Librarian is the best of these OCD games. Couldn't 100% it even if I wanted to ; the speedrunning achievement is pretty hard, requires some skill and knowledge of the game which isn't fun.
I just 100%ed Supermarket Chaos but it's a lesser version of Librarian, it doesn't hit the same and took me several runs to get through.
I like playing this sort of games because I can listen to my podcasts while activating my brain (therefore putting it to rest) as my podcasts are more important than the games themselves.
