It comes at a great cost though in more often than not compromising your vision (if you have one) and the final product being shit.Frankly, shit like this is why we don't need an indie revival, but an AA revival. AA companies were large enough to pull in funds from various sources and make highly polished and fun gmaes unlike the vast majority of indie devs and small enough to get talented people to work on the games they want to make and not some retarded executive's out of date pitch for a game that follows a trend from half a decade ago at the very least. The 7th gen was the last gen that AA developers still had a strong market foothold and made great games that still hold up today. It's also the last good game gen for the same reason. Until AA devs come back in full force, the Western game industry will die a slow, brutal death by 1000 cuts.
