I thought it was a pretty neat, fun game. Main story and missions are all bullshit but the gameplay is very cool.
I didn't expect to enjoy fighting the big monsters as much as I did, usually "big monster" equals "clunk fest of attacking ankles for 15 minutes" but the game lets you crawl all over the mfs and also gives you moves that specifically cater towards attacking big enemies.

At this point, I would probably just wait for the DLC and buy whatever bundle they offer.
