This is probably my favorite game for the gameplay alone, I love how the simple fun missions enhance the open world by utilizing your ability to maneuver it quickly, locations of police bribes, making your way to pay n spray, finding hidden packages for free weapons at your safehouses, making car bombs, etc. VC is awesome too and SA is pretty damn great but III is amazing.

I prefer III’s focus on driving over shootouts vs its successors. I think last time I was doing a playthrough I got to the mission where you had to kill that stall owner in the chinatown area and put the game down that shit was ass.

See, you understand. Most people have way too rigid mindset when playing these games and then fail over and over and then blame the game for their lack of creativity on tackling missions. They're not too complex but they're perfect for figuring out a method to find a solution yourself. I blame modern gaming for ruining this game's image. All PS2 GTA's are good but I find myself returning to 3 the most as well.
