The best ending is the hidden "dont fear the reaper" ending where you go on a suicide run of Arasaka tower yourself. You might not be eligible for it on your current playthrough due to it requiring very specific dialogue checks on one quest.
But solo running the tower is the most kino ending. Up to you if you like Johnny enough to give him your body or not.

There's a side quest you can run into where some gang members are threatening a guy because he took a job at a corpo and if you scare the gang members off (funnily this is one of the few times you can actually use V's rep to scare them off) he explains that he basically either joined up or died.
There's no hope for survival if you're a regular person in Night City unless you take whatever gets thrown your way.
