I bought my Switch 2 as an upgrade to my Switch and that's what it's fucking been. It is a stronger Switch. It plays Switch games. And there are a fuckton of Switch games.

Depends which one you bought. If you bought a release day Switch 1 then the battery life is the same (90 minutes to 2 hours).

However later in it's lifecycle the Switch 1 got a WAY more powerful CPU/GPU. But instead of making the Switch 1 more powerful, since it would majorly piss off early adopters (which are ultimately the guys you depend on to make a product successful in the first place), they just downclocked everything which in return increased battery life to 6 hours because the new chip could now deliver old chip performance at a fraction of it's power draw.

Switch 2 is once again back to a 90 minute to 2 hour battery lifecycle. This seems to be the standard in battery life for that level of handheld system.
