No because the pirates were only at the start and the game was light on Morph Ball setpieces.

You can kinda draw some parallels between the Lamorn and the pirates. Like they built a huge biocannon which was meant to invigorate the desert but it ended up turning all of them into monsters. But enthusiasm around the game wasn't high enough for people to make comics about it.
