Do any of you have a game that you come back to all the time? I'm not talking for the past month or two, and I'm not talking about a game you replay once a year. I'm talking about a game that you're playing at least a couple times a week and you have been for at least a couple years. Pic related is a game my dad played for about 15 years straight.
>aoe2your dads a fucking loser lol
>aoe2 your dads a fucking hero lol
i wish they'd buff handcannoneers
>>743403543That's not nice anon, he died a couple years ago. Personally I never had this experience with a game, I'm just wondering what specific game or personality traits lead people to attach this way.

Counter-Strike. Benn playing it on and off since beta.
>>743403456>aoe2your dad is fucking cool lolI hunt at least once a week in Monster Hunter GU since X was first released. I used to hunt in FU and 4u more often but my 3ds and psp died long ago, I could emulate but I don't feel like grinding the early game again.

>game is a quarter of a century old>still receiving regular updates, patches, balance changes and even expansion packsThe only based part of Microsoft left.
day of defeat: source, but sometimes ill play it everyday for a few months, other times i drop it for a few months if im busy with something. i always return to it though.
Dark Souls 2, what a kinotastic game that is...
>>743403456for me it has been Halo multiplayer, Halo MCC. However I have not played this in months the average skill level on there when I left was basically pro gamer level. It was absurd so I stopped. >Age of Empires III also used to play this game a ton, the single player custom games can have near unlimited replay value. But I think again when I turned to multiplayer for this I got giga curb stomped like I consistently was a major reason why my team would lose. So that kind of demoralized me from playing the entire game. Right now I don't have any game that is like that
>>743403456AOE2 <3
yeah, I come back for the campaigns, not for the multiplayer autism
>>743403849Hand cannoneers are in really good place imo, with the civs with bonuses to it (range, pass-through) being great ones to mass them.
>>743403456No I don't go back to boring solved games.
