Yes. I use quicksaves in DOOM, I always save after every battle in RPGs, I always save twice whenever I exit out of a game.I save.

Yes but I play on permadeath/hardcore mode when it's available. I enjoy not being able to savescum, it makes decisions and battles feel more important.

Yeah, I save all the time. Before and after quests, before entering new areas and rooms, before doing platforming, ... Not even to savescum, just to safe myself the tedium of doing it again if I die.But ofc if I die it's always in the few situations where I forgot to save for half an hour ...

Before leaving the city, after every fight, before entering the city, before buying equipment, etc.All the autosaves or single save games still feel weird and uncomfortable to me.And the best part? Games losing saves is still a fucking issue today. 25 years of gaming and this shit is still happens sometimes. At least the games that have autosaves can sometimes bail me out in case of a crash.
No, I don't save games autistically. I do obsessively take screenshots though. Part of the reason I hate playing on consoles nowadays, because getting huge amount of screenshots onto my PC from PS5 is a pain whereas on PC I have scripts that automatically copy steam screenshots, and rename them according to the game, into a singular folder where I then further sort them manually.
