I basedfaced when I saw all the scenes & characters from Type Help finally pictured from my imagination after a couple repeat playthroughs of the original. The voice-acting is incredible, and the sound design really adds to the atmosphere. A big improvement over the silent terminal interface. It seems like the deduction is more rail-roaded compared to the original, though.
>>743407554Just finished playing through it. There are various changes to the script which are are unfortunately necessitated by the lack of a narrator (who I'm a little sad to see go), but I like a good deal of the new ones from persons 2 and 5 during certain circumstances.Additionally, the new post-game was a lot of fun to experience. Chasing new leads, learning about new characters/technology, and tying up the galley house mystery in a different way to the original was quite interesting.Music, sound design, and the voice acting are really stellar though and completely elevate the experience.
Is it difficult or is it like roottrees where it's all you bashing your head into the search engine until you finally figure out what words will magically let you progress
>>743411401For my playthrough I made 0 guesses or stretches in logic in order to reach 100% completion. Everything I did was a straight deduction. So I'd say that if you're operating at 100% brainpower you should be reasonable able to solve everything. Some of the reviews say it has a decent hints system, but since I never used it, I can't tell you how good that is.
