Tyler McVicker claims Half Life 3 has been delayed to 2028 or later after Valve scrapped most of HLX earlier this year
this changes everything
The more things change, the more they stay the same

Fine by me if it means the final Half Life game is gonna be as good as it can get.Tired of 20+ years worth of fan content being made with HL2's awful framework

Didn't this guy lose all insight he had on Valve's workings after pissing off his contact with that whole Deadlock fiasco and data hoarding?
>
>>743416282He got cut off from Valve back in 2019, after leaking information about Half Life Alyx that was shared with him in confidence. He did it because was pissy about it being a VR Game that wouldn't advance the story. Then he prompted his audience to engage in an email pestering campaign against every Valve employee he could find an email address for, trying to bully them into resuming support for TF2, which completely killed any chance he'd ever get back in their good graces. It was Uncle Dane who fucked up Deadlock by throwing a fit over it. He had some kind of delusion that resources were being diverted from TF2 for it, even though Deadlock is being made by the DOTA team who never would have touched TF2 even if it were Valve's top priority for some reason.TF2fags are so fucking entitled, it's insane. I like the game as much as anybody, but it's an almost 20 year old game that started development 30 years ago. As a courtesy, they keep trickling in new items and maps to keep the game fresh. Just enough to keep the economy alive so people don't lose hundreds of dollars of speculation driven value overnight. They're all delusional like Dane, convinced that TF2 is still a huge moneymaker for Valve that they can't do without. As if they actually see most of that money these days with all the skin gambling and bot trading sites cutting them out of the loop and cashing out for real world money.
