OK say casual Quake died because people got filtered hard by Arena Shooters as /v/ claims

But watching doesn't take any kind of skill whatsover-think of how people who never played basketball play NBA. Not is Quake super intuitive to follow and way more fun to watch compared to slop like Counter Strike, Valorant or Overwatch, it had one of the most talented pool of players in e-sports history.

Why did it flop instead of becoming the next FGC?
