To be fair I was both blind and confused about Lily's tower being moved, so actually did the quest to find it
(I had flown by it so many times, thinking it was Zoe's, that I had stopped registering it as a point of interest)
But... yeah.
When I got around to knocking out the Orserk, Falaeris, and Shadowbeak ones, I just completely ignored the quests.
I was more interested in trying to navigate the areas without flight. It uh. It turns out, the desert, astral mountains, and to a lesser extent mount obsidian aren't really intended to be done by ground travel alone. You can grapple/climb, sure, but...

How's the difficulty spike after you assemble the whale penis? I really don't want to engage with any of the grind elements I just want to finish the game for closure and catch all the cool pals in the world tree map but the grind for ancient tier stuff is brutal.

every gun feels like total garbage after getting used to the vortex blaster. plasma rifle ammo is so expensive, and getting a 66% chance to save on ammo is a massive bonus, regardless of the gun being less damage. i wish there was an accessory that does what the vortex blaster does. they should've blatantly stolen more shit from terraria.

I went out of my way to use Pals i liked and not really "strong" Pals and i hadn't gotten around to min/maxing anything but i was part of a duo so together we were able to beat all 3 bosses together. The hardest one being the multiple Pal fight because you can't catch them and it's like 4-5 waves of 2 Pals to fight at the same time. The other two are Pals you can actually catch. The final boss was very tough for our non-min/max teams so we had to pick each other up off the ground once each but we were able to pull it off. One of the boss areas is inside of a poison cloud which you can fly through quickly and not die from.

My friend was using a Laser Rifle but mainly we relied on Pal damage plus i forgot to make more ammo for my own Laser Rifle. His Pals were doing more damage cause his Neptilius did lots of damage most of the time. Water Pals seem to have pretty nice attacks while my biggest damage was coming from my Renjishi who was 4 stars with crap IVs and whatever natural moves it had but it was not doing as much damage as his Neptilius.
