you're arguing against a point i never made. the problem with the sniper is that it's the only long range class in a game full of mid-range close and personal classes. the sniper is not OP in a sense that it will win you the game. all the sniper does is camp way back behind the front line, clicking on peoples heads that are trying to have fun duels with each other, without ever partaking himself. the sniper is nothing more than a random lightning strike mechanic. you just sometimes randomly die from getting struck by lightning.
