San Andreas in GTA 1 is beautiful.

GTA 1 Thread: this game is really funny, albeit stressful sometimes.

I noticed that you can very roughly rougly map it to the top of San Fierro.

I never liked the classic GTA.
The cars move too fast for the camera, which is too close. I get why the cars are so fast, top-down driving games get super boring when the cars behave more "realistically". Everything moves too slowly, the cars feel sluggish, and it just isn't fun. So the developers basically speed up the entire simulation by at least 2x to make the game fun, but in the case of GTA 1 and 2, it results in simply unpleasant.
