I liked Re-Pac 2, but it doesn't touch the original game in terms of gameplay. One of the biggest fuck-ups was the butt bounce and trampolines, it doesn't feel nearly as good to spring off of them and chain bounces together. But the remake also made a lot of cool changes too and doesn't skimp on difficulty.

Does the butt bounce feel just as wrong in re pac 2 as it does in 1? Cause that alone really bothered me, and I didn't play nearly as much 1(on PS1) as I did 2(on PS2)

Yeah, Pac-Man feels more or less the same between both Re-Pacs, which is pretty disappointing.
