Look into simple games that don't feel intimidating. Usually people go from video games to YouTube because YouTube is more the more passive, time vampire drug.

Ask yourself what type of experience do you want: story, puzzle, just walking around, sandbox? Narrow down that and find something comfy and stupid that you don't have to force yourself to like, so your squishy brain has a chance to adjust to the new routine.

If you jump into anything too demanding it will freak out your soft, doomscrolling/recommended page brain and you'll relapse back into YouTube.
