It most definitely has a gun it's the fucking Sengoku era. It's part of Yasuke's armory if you don't want to use the bow as a ranged option, Naoe's girlfriend will show up with one if you pick her as one of your backup NPCs and enemies obviously use them in combat.
Either way AssCreed has always been one of those games that pierces the gun and ball audience crowd. I guess the historical settings are more interesting than full on fantasy worlds.
