Post your favorite(s). I know it's a niche genre but i expect /v/ to play some of these autism simulators.
software inc is one of my most played game. It's really good though I hate that releasing software is the worst strategy to make money quickly. Also once you make like 50 milion then there is no real challenge
>>743447196How many hours do you have? I want to get that along with Rule the Waves 3
>>743447290450 hours. It's a good game, it's just not a really a software development focused game. You will build offices, you will hold an outsourcing company at the start on higher difficulties, but then the better options are stocks or patents. Software development is not only difficult but also very grindy and the current strategy is to release several softwares versions for free to gain market popularity. This will cost like 10M - 15M and will take like a decade, but then you will earn 50M each year. Also there is multiplayer though I never played it.
>>743447739I spent my last money on FM26 so i hope Software Inc. goes on sale during August sometime. I really like the idea behind it, would you consider it endlessly replayable?
>>743447927Like a rouglike? Not really unless you play in multiplayer. Simulation of competition is rather static. It's more of a game where you replay over and over untill you cheese out perfect strategy to play. Once you have enough cash it's impossible to loose and once the office gets giant the game slows down significantly so it's not as funny to play. I have never tried hardware production even though I like factory games. From what I have heard multiplayer doesn't have most of these issues.
