They dont care to engage with the story themes, the motifs, they dont care about the characters personalities or their stories, they dont care about anything going on in these games other than the fact that they can look at scantily clad japanese schoolgirls. This seems to cause a somewhat unique dissonance with its fanbase, as most people obviously do care about everything else going on in these games, but the coomers are very loud and very vocal about how they basically only see these girls as a sexual outlet and nothing more.
