3 and New Vegas were the only Fallout games I liked. I found 1,2 and 4 all boring and tedious. 4 also has a very off putting visual aesthetic or something. I hated the look of all the buildings and the guns and the colours. It felt unpleasant to look at in a way that 3 and NV did not to me.

Every time I would track it down, initiate combat with it, and whenever it would get within 30% health, it would shoot up into the sky about 300 meters going 900 mph, then stop and dragon t-pose while making the occasional 99999 fps twitch movement. At this point, I'd switch to phase 2 of hunting this fucker down.. Arrows. I'd have to rain arrows from the ground with him being stationary in the sky, until only a sliver of health was left. At this point, he would turn tail first in a random direction and then speed off with zero animation at 1000 mph, leaving me arrow-less and further entrenched in the idea of slaying this dragon..... I sold everything, all possessions in game, all to buy the best ingredients to make the highest damage arrows. But every time I'd hunt down this glitched out dragon, the same thing would happen, phase 1, normal combat, phase 2 glitched 300 meter hovering, phase 3, 1000mph fucking off flying animationlessly backwards. I hunted this thing for 2-3 months straight, taking breaks to recoup my coffers and occasionally progress the main story.I never killed the dragon. It haunts me to this day.

>>743764895I've gotten about 600 hours or so in the game (mods only)without screwing around, the game (with DLC) is about 150-200 hours long (more if you're obsessive with exploration and radiant quests)without mods it is technically playable but you are likely going to be bored out of your fucking mind within the first 30 hours - I do NOT recommend getting Fallout 4 and not modding it, there is no possible instance where you will get more enjoyment out of a mod-less fallout 4, so just browse nexusmods for a few days until you find shit you like
