How are these games? I actually only played 1 and 2 but not the other Ezio games. I always hear how the best AC games were the Ezio games and Black Flag before the series just seemingly went to shit afterwards.

Haven't played them since release and never will because I'll probably be disappointed

brotherhood is good, which i believe is the direct sequel to 2, after that they get kinda mid until black flag, if you enjoy black flag its worth playing assassins creed rogue after it

Well I did like the first two games with AC2 being clearly much better to me even though it still mostly played the same. You can tell though they definitely listened to a lot of the criticism for the first game and made the sequel a lot more packed with features and story. First game was good but felt lacking.

I never got into this series though. It seemed clear they were going to milk it way too much and I never really cared for the Demond storyline or modern day plot. It always seemed to detract from the much more fun past and assassination stealth gameplay.

They say it went to shit because of Unity's disastrous launch and how the series went full rpg aftewards. Anyway, Brotherhood and Revelations are just 2 but slightly upgraded, Rogue is like Black Flag, Unity has better movement and a more involved combat. The games after Origins go full rpg so i can't compare them directly, but i find Origins and Odyssey to be good.

I'd really want to see Venice and Rome remade as true to life as technology allows. Holy shit, just give me actually interesting historical locations to explore and not empty bushes, deserts and sea oh my fucking god what is wrong with ubisoft

It was my favorite game when I was ten. Then a year later my family took me to Venice and I lost my shit

brotherhood is dogshit, game is shorter than ac2 turns into a horse simulator and has zero story, game has zero reason to exist.
>>
>>743742131
brotherhood is ok at best, it kind of feels like a big expansion pack to 2 with a couple gameplay improvements
revelations is more of the same but with extra jank, a story i couldn't bring myself to care about and a whole customizable grenade system that i literally forgot about for 80% of the game because with brotherhood's additions you're already a whirlwind of death so you never actually need it

We both know what is wrong with Ubisoft here. Everyone on here knows actually.

Why do you have to make everything about you?

Honestly, only 2 is a full game in that trilogy. Brotherhood feels like a nice expansion but the story is nonsense. They build up a Borgia as this big villain and never even give him a single win. Before you know it, you have a mission that feels like any other and it's actually the finale where you supposedly stop a guy who was about to take over Europe despite the fact that he and his goons were depicted like Indiana Jones nazis constantly tripping over their own shoelaces. Revelations is absolutely bland. Has some nice tie-ins with AC1 but that's about it. Constantinople is all grey and ugly as sin.

AC2 and Brotherhood are sovlful and great, Revelations is mid

Don't play the Ezio Collection tho, they butchered the visuals

>They build up a Borgia as this big villain and never even give him a single win.
Did you miss that part in the very beginning, where fucks everyone's shit up and kills Ezio's uncle?
>>

>They build up a Borgia as this big villain and never even give him a single win.
He literally destroys the entire Villa Auditore, takes the piece of Eden and nearly kills Ezio right at the start anon

>despite the fact that he and his goons were depicted like Indiana Jones nazis constantly tripping over their own shoelaces.
But this sounds funny and interesting though
