How are these games? I actually only played 1 and 2 but not the other Ezio games. I always hear how the best AC games were the Ezio games and Black Flag before the series just seemingly went to shit afterwards.
Haven't played them since release and never will because I'll probably be disappointed

You can tell though they definitely listened to a lot of the criticism for the first game and made the sequel a lot more packed with features and story. First game was good but felt lacking.I never got into this series though. It seemed clear they were going to milk it way too much and I never really cared for the Demond storyline or modern day plot. It always seemed to detract from the much more fun past and assassination stealth gameplay.

Anyway, Brotherhood and Revelations are just 2 but slightly upgraded, Rogue is like Black Flag, Unity has better movement and a more involved combat. The games after Origins go full rpg so i can't compare them directly, but i find Origins and Odyssey to be good.
I'd really want to see Venice and Rome remade as true to life as technology allows. Holy shit, just give me actually interesting historical locations to explore and not empty bushes, deserts and sea oh my fucking god what is wrong with ubisoft

They build up a Borgia as this big villain and never even give him a single win. Before you know it, you have a mission that feels like any other and it's actually the finale where you supposedly stop a guy who was about to take over Europe despite the fact that he and his goons were depicted like Indiana Jones nazis constantly tripping over their own shoelaces. Revelations is absolutely bland. Has some nice tie-ins with AC1 but that's about it. Constantinople is all grey and ugly as sin.
