Physical releases don't happen on PC anymore, so there's no way for you to legally sell a used PC game, no matter what platform you're using. I don't know why you keep bringing up this "point". You can't sell your GoG games either. If you're pirating and selling the copies that's just bootlegging and it's a crime.

>>743749638And what do you have to say to someone who uses multiple services, and even pirates, and buys games directly from the devs? My copy of starsector is offline and can never be taken away from me. My N64 romhacks are safe. Just seems like you got nothing on me.
>>743749638What we can really conclude here is that the DRM doesn't really matter; we're on PC, we can back up our stuff however we want, and no company can stop us, so I'm going to buy the game wherever I can or pirate it.On the other hand, on a console, you're screwed, especially on a 100% digital console, which is nothing like a PC when it comes to digital games.
>>743750101This. After finding out that my games didn't transfer to my Ps4, and every PSN purchase I made was essentially permanently locked to my PS3, that was it. No Ps5. No sir.
>here's your based ceo steamiesA guy who doesnt give a shit about your games, takes a 30% cut and things money steers everything and has made it clear you don't own shit.Yea, 30 years from now, how confident are you you'll own your games?I'll still own my blurays, I'll still own my GOG installers.
>>743743002>spoonfeeding this much
>>743746436This but 100% unironically. What kind of tasteless normie cattle can you be?
>>743750749Will I care about games when I'm 75?
>>743746961It's always the pattern.Sony does something horrible and these retards deflect with>le xbox bad>le pc badThe worst I've seen in the last week is the actual literal gaystation shills calling pc supremacists grifters for saying how bad it is what sony is doing
>>743750749>look at sony and nintendo>they have the audacity to charge money for their games instead of giving them away for free>have to buy movies and GOG games, instead of them being freeGreedy pricks.
>>743747908to be fair the original DS1 is as good as deleted
>>743751182well yeah because they took the servers down right? idk if you can still fuck around with 3rd party shit or what but at least you can still play it singleplayer
>>743751169Sony is greedy and hates your consumer rightsNintendo is greedy and hates your consumer rightsValve is greedy and hates your consumer rightsThere is zero difference between any of these companies.https://youtu.be/o3he7hehlrc
I cant wait until these fuckers collapse. I hate steam. They deserve all of the collapse. The only good thing they have done for gaming and consumer freedom is contribute to linux, but we all know they are using that to make a locked down DRM OS which is called steamOS, they aren't doing it for your benefit. They are doing it so you stay with steam and can't game on any other platform.
>>743751523settle down timmy
>>743751523>locked down drm OSIt’s out an it’s not locked down.
>>743750749he's right. the only ones who disagree are trannies trying to posture being noble and making mods for free (before turning around and shilling their patreon)
>>743742847Legally if is just a license then it means i am free to do whatever shit even reselling cracked versions because i paid for a license. Can't believe how retard you have to be to assume "license = not ownership" when is quite the contrary.
>this shit againrepeating threads should be instant ban
>>743748468my dad actually works at valve and can confirm they plan on tying Gabe to the anchor and throwing him into the atlantic so they can sell off Steam to Microsoft and build a Ziggurat in Bill Gates' honor.
>>743742847>"buy" game>confused why it didn't come with the source code>confused why other people are playing copies without your permission>confused why the company you bought the game from is mad that you are selling copies when it's not their game anymore because you bought itDid we really need a law to warn people about this?
>>743751280>Sony is greedy and hates your consumer rights>Nintendo is greedy and hates your consumer rights>Valve is greedy and hates your consumer rightsThis. I don't understand how anyone can support one of these anti-consumer companies.
>>743742847that's funny because steam let's me play every game I bought even if "the licenses" ran out.
>>743753883WrongPer valves own user agreement, you don't own shit legally. You have DRM copies that would not work the moment your license gets revoked or require online ID verification.Tomorrow they could wipe your account and you would have no legal recourse and they could do this for any reason.GOG on the other hand just werks, I own my offline installer forever.Blurays on the other hand just werks, I own my movies offline forever and can rip them.Tomorrow they can't just take it away from me, valve can and will in the future.
>>743754048>You have DRM copies that would not work the moment your license gets revoked or require online ID verification.proof?
