Why is it so satisfying optimizing production lines in this game? I always hated the survival crafting genre until now. Right now I'm running:Farm base: 3 ranches filled with pals Breeding farm as well if needed. Butterfly pal manning the clinic to raise farm suitability.Mine base: Mines coal/sulphur nodes while producing everything else. 3 oil extractors with a single large power generator (I'm thinking I can even go 4 if I improve the electricity pals). This base is pretty funny to watch because all the best mining/logging pals are massive so it's like 12 giants at work. Home base: Does all my crafting, fishing, researching, farming, and cooking to supply the rest of the bases with salads. I have a couple thousand pal metal ingots and plasteel at this point so I guess I'll just mass build computers until I'm strong enough to start mass farming hexalite/chromite. Everything is streamlined so the only reason I ever have to touch my other two bases is to ferry them salads every few hours. It's almost more satisfying just sitting around watching it all operate than actually playing the game.

Everything in this area is either normal or dark and both of those types have 2 drop rate boosting pals, and coincidentally 3 of those 4 are dragon or dark for eidrolon's move speed buff. With vangaurd on the drop rate buff pals a single beam launcher shot clears everything in one hit other than selynes, so that's the only time I need to use a pal attack. I've actually debated on if including hoodie to make the beam launcher one shot selyne is worth it.
