I think it's been pretty clear that lore wise they would never ever do a thing where a villain will be able to join the team and be completely left to still be as evil as they can be. Like theres no chance Carnage will join the team without something to keep him from murdering innocent people because otherwise people like Captain America would straight up refuse to work with him and will probably personally stop him.
What they can do though is have villains that will help the heroes out of self interest which I think is what Hood is, like he's not doing it out of altruism and he's in it for himself. Loki's pretty much doing that as well right now. He's acting helpful to the heroes but it's clear behind everyone's back he's still doing some shady shit that benefits him. Villains that would fit this criteria would be street level like Doc Ock, one of the goblins etc. Like they're villainous but they see the bigger picture that it's better to aid the heroes to prevent their own asses.
Then there are those like Ultron who Stark reprogrammed with a failsafe to make sure he doesn't betray but his voicelines makes it clear he still utterly hates humanity and you just know if he ever manages to break the failsafe he'll go straight back to villainy.

Grandmaster strategist gamer here, Sue is good but the Luna buffs combined with her white fox teamup cleansing any CC done on you makes her way better in every way now. When you're good enough there's no reason not to use Luna when she outputs enough damage to rival other DPS and heals harder than anyone else. Also quite impossible to kill since nothing can really stun her anymore.

I plan to spam Magik with the enhanced hood team-up when Hood comes out
