You lose very little selling the dignity of a fictional character and can gain all sorts of easy money. Half the time the people you're selling to put a detail obsessed autistic fanboy in charge of the crossover and people don't even register you put no thought into this and you're just whoring out the character with your only standards being the number of zeros on the check.
