I want to like DK64, but I think I just hate Rare's design style for platformers. Areas with shit just kind of slapped around, more minigames than in-stage challenges, teleporters that seem placed almost randomly, and no way to actually keep track of which individual collectibles you've picked up outside of stage totals. It's not as bad as Banjo, but still like a 7/10 if I'm being generous.
