>The Bethesda Game Studios union has filed a new legal complaint against Xbox, claiming the company violated Canadian labor laws in handling layoffs at its Montreal studio. These damn, lazy, useless bitches, how can they be so shameless? They churn out a bunch of trashy games, waste the company’s money, and spend all day spouting nonsense about LGBTQ+ and Black supremacy, yet they think they have the right to keep their jobs? Are these people living in a fucking bubble or something? They seem to have absolutely no clue how the real world works.
>we'll threaten to not make video games!watch the industry improve itself during this strike
Power to the workers, fuck Microsoft, kys anti-labor faggots who will inevitably shit up this thread.
>Canada>French Canadanothingburger. they'll get laughed out of the paid-off courts
Power to the shareholders, fuck these entitled employees, kys pro labor faggots who will inevitably shit up this thread.
>>743851318I'd be on their side if I didn't see a video earlier where one of the developers laid off was a foid writer who previously worked on 76 and fallout London and is now working on TES6. Honestly if those are the credentials of someone working on the next elder scrolls they're fucked anyways.
>>743851318>MontrealI thought they were in Maryland
>>743851318>AIIIIEEEEE THEYRE MAKING US WORK THE JOB WE WERE PAID TO DO!!1!!1!1!holy shit nuke the western gaming industry already
>>743853279It's almost like they were expected to do a job. They, themselves seem to be the anti-labor ones for refusing to make anything that anyone actually wants to buy.God forbid you actually have to do your job, and not have meetings for years about which characters should suck cocks.
>>743851318>I CANT LET THEM MAKE ANOTHER FALLOUT GAME>ITS MY IP TO SIT ON AND DO NOTHING WITH
>>743853596Oh, shut up, Todd.
>>743851318It happens all the time and usually pretty cut and dry. Either they violated a labor law or they didn't.
MS literally gave them hundreds of millions of dollars to pay their salaries for years while they made games and they didn't do anything. You're telling me they spent 400 million on starfield between 500 employees and that was the best they could do? They obviously spent months not working on the game
>>743855956I don't think you understand how a budget works anon. But even then, for the sake of argument, lets assume 400 million dollars was spent 100% on salaries, and everyone got an equal cut. $400,000,000 divided by 500 people, over the 8 years of development would mean everyone would have only gotten paid $100,000 a year. Now the canadian tax takes what it takes, whatever benefits you have, and you're getting 6 figures take home. And again, that is assuming everyone gets paid evenly, and 100% of the budget is spent on salaries - which would be a silly thing to fucking do.
