I've beaten it a few times, honestly the DSS mechanic is pretty useless because the cross absolutely destroys everything almost effortlessly, and the drop rates are so abysmal I'd rather not get them at all.

>>743853557I beat it on my modded SNES Classic in 2019. It’s not that hard, hardest part was some giant room near the southwest of the castle. It’s a good game, better than HoD for sure. Sadly I didn’t go on to play AoS, I had played a ton of Castlevania that summer and I stopped at HoD.

Why do I need to double tap to run? Why can't I run by default? Do I need to be slow in a certain area?
>>743858564Only the Dracula battle sucks because it's an RNG fest if you don't have the right cards, which you can only get if you luck out on RNG ironically (or if you use a guide which I imagine most people who beat the game did)
