The fact that so many people are okay with replaying a game not once but twice in a fucking row just to get a new mission says a lot about the state of decay in our society let alone the vidya industry. U are a complete pathetic mid wit loser if u can sit there any just replay a game. I tried brining this up after 3 years cuz i wanted to check out the new weapons and missions and even after 3 years I remeber the missions too well to enjoy them. Fuck these devices for making such an amazing game but forcing us normal people to live like the weed addicted lowest common denominator of gamers
I only ever see Japanese games do this.ACVI and Silent Hills F and Nier: AutomataIt's a total disrespect of people's time
This thread reminded me I haven't replayed the game at all since getting the 3rd ending in the first patch. I wonder what it's like now and if it's worth doing a save-wipe to start over.
>>744113218Disrespect of people's time. Couldn't have said it better myself. The Japs dont do shit in their free time. No hiking, no pets, no social life, no dating.. To them killing time like this makes sence
AC6 was my favorite game of this decade doesnt help that most moderb games suck ass
Honestly I understand you "I need to experience 100% of a game in one run" people less. There's a lot of fun in choice, even if it's just lip service.RPGs and games with build customization like Armored Core are no problem playing through 100 times so long as you're mixing it up each run. Even the few missions and/or choices that aren't variants won't feel that awful if now you're doing it with a heavy build or mage or what have you as opposed to your previous run.It also takes a lot of sting out of "missable" content.I dunno. With so much variance and replayability I don't see how it'd ever be a problem to be "forced" to play some parts again.Except for forced escort missions. I'm looking at you Armored Core 2 Another Age
Does it really count as replaying when a good 2/3rds of the replayed missions get cleared in a breeze? The only thing that gave me any amount of resistance after killing Ayre and replaying to kill Walter was Ibis again. Walter himself is pretty easy, and all the aces and replays up until Ibis itself get completely mopped.
>U are a complete pathetic mid wit loser if u can sit there any just replay a game.does it count if they're games from my childhood and I haven't played them since my childhood
>>744113135Y u talk like dis r u 12
>>744113135okay kumar
>>744113135this is just how japs do businessthe pure audacity of giving you a purposefully unsatisfying ending to a 40 hour experience and then saying "ok chud, now do another 40 for the true end(if you dont get this item from this npc at the 12 hour mark you will have wasted a week of your life")It's funny because JRPG fans defend the lack of visual customization and "choice and consequence" when the self same lack is what makes the multiple ending shit so unbelievably irritating.
>>744113135sloppa
>>744115607If your least favorite thing about AC games wasn't the fact that some legs were just flat unusable due to turn speed being king, you didn't play enough of them. It's like having a good<-->shit slider as your game's customization element.
>>744114652I have a life outside of vidya and only play 3-4 hours a week
>>744115607unc slop really is atrocious thank god for AC6
>>744116025That should make repeat sections even less of a problem, as you'll be at the replay stage weeks later than the person devoting a day to it
>>744114978No
>>744116025>I have a life outside of vidya and only play 3-4 hours a weekYou should be banned for this post. Get the fuck out, normalfag.
>>744116085>replay stage weeks laterWhat do u mean that it will only take a few weeks for my brain to forget enough of the game to enjoy it again? I must have a mega mind cuz its still not interesting replaying this 3 years later. But hey, if u can get more bang out of ur buck I cant hate on that...
>>744116118Im not a normal fag im just 32. Everything becomes less interesting. Having life figured out actually sucks.
>>744116145Not "forget" but clearly it'd be fresher to someone doing it the same night no?
>>744116312Its not good enough. I mena i can replay it once and I was okay with that coming into it but these fuckers want u to reply it twice to unlock the actual cool shit
My favorite game is Nioh 2, Dream of the Nioh (New Game ++++), with its awesome endgame Underworld and Depths of the Underworld.
>>744114652There are a ton of different video games worth playing, even if there isn't anything out in the past few months that takes your fancy there's a 40-50 year backlog on great games that have been released that you probably haven't touched yet. While you could replay the same game and maybe see a few new things on your second or third playthrough, 90% of that content will be something you have already experienced. You could have spent that time playing a different game that has slipped under your radar. The main people who play the same game multiple times are kids (whose parents will only buy them a few games a year) and autists.
>>744115895You just don't know how to play the game retard. It's a tradeoff between movement speed and weight(higher ammo count+bigger guns+higher AP). Quick builds don't always win in classic AC.In 6 there's no reason not to choose the tankiest parts since the game will autotrack for you, there's a reason why heavy builds dominated pvp.
>>744114652How is the customisation in AC6 compared to its predecessors or say MASS Builder?
>>744116771A lot worse.
>>744113135Dude, if you really like a videogame you can play it over and over, but if you take it as a job then there's no reason to play it, you're just punishing yourself.Thats one of the reasons why gachas are so popular now, they're made for people with short attention spans who seek quick gratification, like all those new generations of little shits with perpetually low dopamine levels.Just leave long games to people with enough patience/interest to play them.
>>744116771More types of builds are viable for the campaign than other games, but there are significantly fewer stats to fiddle with. It's back-and-forth.
>>744116462You're not really missing much unlock wise. You get a suit for the two endings you can get depending on mission choice. Depending if n build philosophy you might not even use it. The last mission on the third ending has the coal shield and the coral rifle which are meh in my opinion. What you should be invested in is the changes in the story and what's going on with the characters as well as the fights. That's the content you're going to miss out on.
>>744116771Mass builder customization sucks so I don't know what you mean. Visually there's a lot of expression there but you're mostly picking between melee or machine gun/laser.Armored core has a lot more depth than that but to actually make it look to the extent of mass builder will need a lot of fiddling with stickers and weathering and material finish. Even then the heads is always going to be the same head.Gam play wise it's pretty in depth. You can get up to a lot of fun. It's not as deep as 4s retarded "three stats to get a value" system but it's about on par with the likes of 2 onward.
>>744113135you might be the biggest faggot I've seen on here and I've seen people post gaping prolapsed male asses on here
>>744113135Do you not reread or rewatch stuff either? This game specifically isn’t even much of an investment in NG+ and ++. NG++ specifically literally wouldn’t make sense without the build-up. “Waaaah I remember how to fight Ibis now” you didn’t like fighting it to begin with you just liked the fact you beat it.
>>744116025You can get everything out of AC6 in a month then, grats.
>>744113135You're an utter faggot but>get to the end of this>plot turns into pants on head retarded bullshit about a secret organization of magic oil burners >the ending conundrum of "stand by this goober giving me orders" or "obey the female voice in my head" becomes obvious>start fighting super speed magic mechs in the lost underground cityAll of this made me fall out of playing it more than half a year ago and I still haven't gone back
>>744116956You are replying the same thing over and over. This is not mentally healthy. People like u used to die out in the olden days.
>>744117050>whats going on with the story and charactersLol its a video game, its made for teens,go read a book
>>744113135Maybe the game is just fun and worth replaying so it's okay.
>>744118264Not fucking replaying it twice
>>744116025Sounds like you can replay games because enough time passes to keep it fresh. Are you seriously trying to say that once you complete a game you'll NEVER touch it again? What the fuck, I literally replay a handful of my favourite games every couple of years.
i've replayed ac6 three timesevery time i quit within 5 hoursthe gameplay is so boring
>>744113135It's not just "replaying" it; Things change, and you have changed. In the same way that fighting a boss later in the game that you fought earlier is a good way to show a player how far they've come, replaying an earlier mission can convey a similar feeling. Then, AC6 throws in a few twists with "but what if you could do this mission differently" and increases the difficulty along the way.Take some time to appreciate the process.
>>744118425Same with movies. More power to u for getting more out of ur buck but its not something I can turn on. Vidya is a waste of time so the more moderation the better
>>744118480How the fuck does it take u 5 hours to decide if a game is boring. It takes me 20 min. For instance, just tried space marines 2 the other day, 15 minuets to realize its repetitive slop
I don't usually replay games but AC6 had enough customization to make it fun. Each replay is a different experience gameplay wise, if you choose to make it that way.
>>744118227A large sum of books are also maid for teens
>>744113135you shouldn't b e on /v/ if you don't replay games regularly. replaying to get better and improve your run is a core part of the gaming experiencei'd say you faggots just want movies but you should be rewatching movies to fully appreciate them too
>>744113135>replayI still havent finished the game
>>744113135Game fun. Why wouldn't you want to play it again?
>>744113135I have all the time in the world to play games and I never bothered with it because i dont feel like it, and i never complained about it. maybe stop being a faggot little bitch OP?
>>744113218>>744114132>disrespect of people's timeyou spend your worthless time shitposting on 4chan you fucking idiots
>>744113135Learn to type properly, you fucking retard
>>744113135when you play all 3 endings you realize how much work went in for the branching paths to all have their moments in the end.the downside is all the cut content we got because they didnt want to half ass the writing/ lore. so no arequebus ending or balam.hopefully next game they find a way to bring it all together and do more branching storyline but its tricky because theyre trying to appease non replay fags
>>744116771mass builder has better customization, If you're a basic bitch biped user. But that's all thrown out the window once you start 'playing' it.
the repeat playthroughs change enough that it's not that big a deal, and with Armored Core missions being mostly bite sized compared to, say, Elden Ring's 30-60 hour nonsense depending on what you hunt for unless you're a speedrunner, you can literally do all three routes in a day off from work if you got nothing else seriously going on and don't get stonewalled by certain encounters. it's one of those cases where if you aren't really liking the game on the first run then I can see why people would not be happy with it, but if you're wanting more of what you just ran, it's pretty neat to get to invert some missions, take on new ones, get some extra context, more parts, more shit to work with - and then the third run just inverts half the game on its head and throws you for a complete chaotic loop while everything goes to absolute shit in entirely new ways.
>>744113218>>744114132>nooooooo i have to actually play the game to finish it wtffff, i just want to be done with it so i can add it to my backloggd to show my troon friends!!!kill yourselves
>>744116080Imagine fighting Ibis like this...
>>744116712Emphasis on "dominated".
>>744113135I will replay the games I like hundred, even thousand times.I will keep 99% of the games and developers on my blacklist.I will call you a normalfag, tourist, shitter, subhuman, poser, wannabe etc.
>NG+ is more damage. This sucks>What?! I have to clear the game 3 times to see all content? This sucksYou can't win.
>>744114652>RPGs and games with build customization like Armored Core are no problem playing through 100 times so long as you're mixing it up each runI only enjoy one build in these types of games
>>744113135faggot
>>744126045>I-I can't replay a game by my own will I-I it to be slightly different so I don't feel like I'm wasting time I could be spending on my mindless consumption of other games
>>744113135it was kino and you type like a retard and definitely are one
>>744128208You sound like you wear a soiled diaper.
