You should run the 3-piece break set with defense ignore, armor penetration and break damage on every physical character. On Roxy and Theresia, stacking stun and bleed % damage isn't really doing anything 95% of the time when the boss' super armor bar is active.

Tarte is ""low tier"" but becomes op with just one other thunder character In party. Also she's currently the only super small character and the cheeky devs made multiple locations only she can get to that have treasure

Dana combos really well with the elf. Her golem is really strong overall and the skill regens very quickly letting you spam aoe nukes that can lead into easy stuns and knockdowns. I'm not sure how well she scales for later game difficulty but her toolset is very useful. The golem stays on the field while you tag out and draws agro for you too. Dana's gameplay is pretty linear and doesn't do much other than spam golem skills but it introduces a lot of combo potential and aoe.
