>>744242450It's not a matter of whether BP is good or bad. BP is frustrating to play against and it's not engaging. He's like Hawkeye (and Squirrel Girl) in that regard. Hawkeye is total dogshit but it's annoying to just occasionally get Hawkeye Moment'd and die because he happened to fire an arrow down a hallway that hit your head. BP's kit as it exists is that you swap to counter him or have a coordinated team, or your backline just fucking dies. A support or poker can do literally nothing to stop him before he kills them, which is not fun or engaging gameplay.It's a similar problem to Widow pre-rework where he CANNOT be allowed to be good because he'd be unstoppably oppressive with no counterplay if he was good. A sniper and an "instant kill hypermobile melee assassin" are both agonizing to play against. And he's pretty good right now, which is why it's driving people up the wall. He does technically have the counterplay of playing only characters that hard-counter him, but that's fucking lame and an issue in itself.Divefags are up their own ass and act like dive is dead if they can't 1v3 the enemy team's entire backline on their own. They need to be able to guarantee effortlessly kill a coordinated team's supports every time they dive or their character/dive in general is bad. Because they don't understand that dive needs team support and is about harassment as much as it is assassination. So now that BP can just delete the entire backline in an instant and not die without having to need the other five fuckers on his team do anything, he's only "okay."And personally, it doesn't help that in my experience only retards and egomaniacs play him. He's even worse than Spider-Man in that regard.
