I hate that a lot of controllers nowadays all have tactile face buttons. I'm eyeing the GuliKit TT Pro because I like the ps layout but man that dpad is throwing me off

The problem with all these fake n64 joysticks is that they don't have the same sensibility than the original one. In the original you had to move the joystick around 40% to get max, in the new ones you move it like 10% to get it to the max, so fine aiming in goldeneye or walking slowly in other games is way harder.This shit should be REALLY easy to fix with software, but no one has done it as far as i know. I still have to test these new metallic ones, but those cost like 150 bucks.

About two or three months into this controller, still think it's fantastic. The extra shoulder buttons are probably one of the best advancements in controllers I've seen outside of the DS4 touchpad. Genuinely a great addition.

This is why precision aiming actually worked and why playing on modern hardware is fucked because it's too sensitive from just a tiny push.

I ordered a ModRetro 64 yesterday and got two of their Pro controllers which are supposed to be awesome, hoping to have all that shit soon. I have been using an 8bitdo Ultimate controller (the one with the TMR sticks) with my Superstation One, and that's been really nice.
got a gamesaar lite 2 to replace "Rudolph" the Horipad (named as such because the left stick rubber came off and I permanently affixed a red rubber cap with glue because it wouldn't stay on otherwise) because I was curious about the circular microswitch Dpad and I wanted to play some old school fightans. The dpad is indeed great, I'm just garbage at fighters. Didn't like how you have to install the gamesaar app just to disable the back buttons because it's so easy to tap them and by default they record and play back macros.
