>>744245539I loved it and got 100% and all the medals, even beat 9 lives mode. But yeah, I wish the levels were a bit more like real places and also mixed things up a bit more. The final world felt like the levels were finally getting more exciting and then it just ends. I do like how it's a 3D platformer you can finish in an afternoon, but still.Looking forward to a sequel or DLC.

Though in my unpopular opinion, 2 and the Jaguar game might be worse than 3D. Bubsy 1 is actually a decent game, like a 7/10. Feels nice to play at high speeds after you've memorized it a bit and avoid the one hit kills, and the levels are big with some fun secrets. It got a pretty good reception when new and sold a bunch. Part of that you might say that was because of the big marketing push, but lots of people legitimately enjoyed it and look back fondly on it. Bubsy sequels sucked ass and made people retroactively talk about Bubsy 1 as worse than it is.
