In a normal game this line would be dumb but this is fucking Resident Evil which is famous for giant mutated monsters with enormous glowing weak spots you need to shoot to kill them in boss fights, Leon who's been doing this shit for literal decades by now saying to Grace that he went easy and purposefully avoided the giant glowing Zelda weak spot isn't that ridiculous and if anything makes sense in the context of the series.
