A high end RAM config for the time i.e. 8GB is $80. Adjusted for inflation, those would be roughly $148, $192, and $118. Those are nowhere near the prices of equivalent configurations today.

You can't get an entry level (8GB) RAM set for $20 or for $30 accounting for inflation. Across the entire board your image lists prices which are significantly lower than today's equivalents. I don't understand why you're saying one thing in your post and including an image which clearly and obviously says something completely different and then pretending it doesn't.
