Starfield is a dull nothing of a game. It feels like a bunch of different, and occasionally pretty interesting, ideas thrown together with no attempt to tie them together to make the game feel coherent and thought out. To say it's overhated would imply it's garnered enough emotion to make people hate it, but that's not the case. It's not even bad, or even particularly buggy for Bethesda standards, it's just fucking bland and forgettable.

The mob npcs still look the same and that anon is likely using a mod that replaces them with regular npcs, though Bethesda has since fixed the bug-eyed staring problem they had on release.

I don't mind it. I like cruising around exploring planets, especially the spooky ones that are shrouded in dust or storms. Yeah the story is dog shit but it's pretty okay when it's just exploration.The Vanguard quest line was neat, too.
