Oldcron > Nucron. Now that we got that cleared up and the argument out of the way, we can discuss other things in the trailer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfL5zrHM4DQ
>>744270752Holy fuck, those animations are a joke. Where's the lumbering trudge with which they walked in Dow1? Only the warriors sorta have that vibe, everything else could just be reskinned guardsmen. No character at all, those doomstalker move like on a rail. Sloppy shovelware quality
>>744270752>Skorpekh Lordcool>no Hexmark destroyers, no regular Lokhust destroyers, no Ophydian destroyersnot cool, i wanted a full army range of destroyersalso no flayed ones for some cringe reason
>>744271265I actually laughed when I saw the destroyers twitch in place while shooting like it's 2004. No reanimating necrons standing up from the ground, they just teleport back to their squad. No buildings emerging from the ground, they just phase in from the air. I knew these morons would fuck it up
>literally copying zergYawn
Didn't they already release this trailer
>>744271724No, it was a cinematic trailer before
>>744270752Oldcrons were boring
>>744270752The animations are pretty bad, hopefully they'll be just as fun to play as in Dark Crusade/Soulstorm.Please tell me it doesn't have Denuvo so that I can pirate it.
>>744271265>>744271617Don't expect Relic quality (back when they were at the top of their game) from these mediocre devs
So that's how they fire Enmitic Exterminators?huh
>>744274823The regular gauss cannons fire a little weird to me too. Like they last a second too long maybe
release in 7 weeksall footages are "work in progress"all footage are from multiplayerfew minutes of ork tuto we have seen nothing from the campaign70 missions solo zero footagezero
>>744276450Footage is slowly rolling out, scientifically proven to hype up cattle to buy the deluxe edition
>>744276450>all footages are "work in progress"Do you think devs complete the game months before release and then just sit there? QA is still "in progress" btw
>>744270752nice to see we're getting some more constructsalso feels like they peaked right into my head when they decided the race line up
>>744276996there is a diff between "completing" your game and "polishing" your game
i dont care about the multiplayer i want to see the campaign
>>744271568>no regular Lokhust destroyersif you thought they were going to add those 23 year old models in their shiny new game you are high
>>744277484Did they rename them to Lokhust Destroyers? Yeah, they looked shit even back in the day, same as wraiths. The canoptek wraiths are fucking huge
I'm so fucking starved for new RTS games I'll take what I can get.
>>744277484they should've forced their OC donut redesigns in the game just to force GW's hand at refreshing the old Lokhust destroyers cause holy shit what are they waiting for. Also refresh the Lokhust Lord while we are at it
>>744270752How is this game not DOA? Some literally who devs with a mediocre first game are competing against Creative assembly who will deliver what people actually liked about dawn of war (large scale battles with lots of factions). Total war games also get constant updates and dlc factions.
God it looks like shit. I'm glad. DoW fans deserve this after the unjustified bitch tantrum they threw over DoW 3
>>744279613and also add more flayer units and a flayer lord you fucking piece of shit company
>>744279686>er what people actually liked about dawn of war (large scale battles with lots of factions).Dawn of war did NOT have large scale battles. you are thinking of Apocalypse (Which was and is shit btw)
>>744279686>competing againstTW40k doesn't have a release window and hasn't even shown a single frame of one of the factions, suggesting it doesn't exist yet. The two games will be a year apart at the very least
>>744270752Nucrons are objectively better you dumb faggot. The only people who ceaselessly whinge about how oldcrons were better and they ruined the faction are fat gen x grognards who thought the terminator movies were the best films ever made.
>>744279863sneed
>>744280168it's weird grogs love oldcrons so much becuase they were DOGSHIT for painting, kitbashing, and /yourdudes/. every necron in the galaxy was basically the same, and all enslaved to existing c'tan, no room for customization
>>744272061Do you think the Tyranids are boring too? Do they need a bunch of wacky characters and hijinks to make them more interesting?
Reminder that the Tyranids will be ruined the same way the Necrons were in due time. Enjoy every swarmlord being a chungus with a quirky personality.
>>744280523Do you fags ever shut the fuck up?
>>744280253Its literally just memberberries for when they were young (IE not a lard ass mouth breathing grognard) and saw the first terminator movie.
>>744280501Tyranids are not humanoids that speak, tranny
>>744280643Neither did Necrons with very few exceptions, tertiary.
>>744280775>n-nuh huh they didn't speak either!>e-except when they did...Nice try, tranny. Kill yourself.
>>744280775except that was retconned 20 fucking years ago and tyranids are insects and animalswhat is up with grogs and claiming old lore still applies decades after it doesn't?
>>744280905>grogsI bet it's actually newfags who automatically think everything older is better
>>744280501Yeah I do faggot. I think most people would agree with me on that point as well. Why do you think so few people play them? >boring to paint>boring to play>Almost 0 named characters>Lore is: lol dey hungry af and make ur brain hurtyHeres to hoping they get the same treatment as necrons at some point soon.
>>744279972>flayer lordMy son, a millennia of war and carnage has corrupted your engrams and have now fallen prey to the curse of Llandu'gor the Flayer. Your dynasty has shunned you and now you have to pick a Flayer Lord to followwould you follow gigaCHAD Valgûl the Fallen Lord or serve mommy Xun'bakyr, Mother of Oblivion?
>>744276450What is your idea of 'footage' exactly because we saw clips of the game being played as early as announce
>>744280870The only example I can think of is the Pariah from Dawn of War 1. In fact with the genestealer cults, there's way more Tyranids that can speak than there ever were talking Necrons.>>744280905I'm not saying it still applies retard, read the chain of posts
>>744277484Eh, the Ork units are still using models 6 editions old
>>744270752Dow1 still the king it seems. Soul storm is still the best. Game design is a lost art, truly absurd
>>744280905>except that was retconned 20 fucking years ago and tyranids are insects and animalsAnd If Tyranids were changed tomorrow, to have a much of goofy comic relief characters, I'm sure you'd be defending that change too 20 years from now.
>>744281041i like oltyx (valgûl), he's a cool dudeand wait, where does it say xun'bakyr is a flayer lord? this is all lexicanum gives me and it sounds like she's a destroyer lord?
>>744281240if that happens (it won't, we both know it) then i will apologize, but i'll wait until then
>>744281240You are so assmad about zandrekh and trazyn that you have summed up the entire faction into "goody comic relief" lol Why does that chap your fat unwashed ass so badly? Btw please elaborate without referencing terminator you lardass.
>>744281240What are you even on about, 'goofy comic relief necrons'. They're all still deadpan robot skeletons
>>744281501No shut up if they have personalities it means they're goofy human comic relief marvel quipping characters
>>744270752uh duh durrrrr, old good, new bad!! argghhuhhdurrrrrrrrrr
>>744281420the Maynarkh dynasty were the necrons that killed Llandu'gor and thus the first dynasty that started to fall to the Flayer Virus. Many in her dynasty serve as flayed ones and it's possible that maybe she's immune to the curse just like Oltyx was
>>744281240>goofy comic relief characterswhat a fucking crybaby lmao, two fucking characters in the whole fucking faction
I played the closed alphaThis game is so unpolished it just makes me soundModern games are released unfinished and only truly completed like a year and half laterJust look at the fooking content roadmap they put put
>>744281045any gameplay from the campaign which is the main selling point of this game
>>744276450I'm already expecting a large chunk of those missions to be sane event except different faction's perspective
>>744281679>just like Oltyx wasuhhhh, i don't think he was "immune", maybe just that he won't go insane like most of them... he is definitely a flayer though
>>744281501>>744281576Why are you retards lying? Here's a quote from le ebin funny necron overlord Trazyn the Tranny>History requires two parties. The historian, and their audience. Without that, one just talking to oneself. So kindly stop screaming, and you might learn something.
>>744281715>This game is so unpolished it just makes me soundIt makes you shove things up your penis?
>>744281854do you have "le ebin funny funny" quotes from *any* other necron, or were you buckbroken back and forth by just this one dude
Name one memorable Oldcron character.
Are you fags really defending the reddit tier Necron books? They're extremely popular and jew workshop is simply going to make more slop for piggies to eat in response Don't be disingenuous and claim like it's not the new identity of the faction
>>744281854Is this supposed to be comic relief or quipping?
>>744281869in rage, yes
>>744270752Ctanfags are cringe
>>744281854That's your idea of goofy wackiness? A bit of snark?
>>744281691If 2 Space Marines wore onesies, sucked lolipops, and were canonized and beloved by redditors forever, that would ruin the entire damn Space Marine faction, yes.
>>744281869makes me sadFucking autocorrect
>>744281854Get over yourself fat boy. We all know if he said it in an austrian accent and wore sunglasses you would be creaming your shit stained briefs about him.
>>744281969bro, the "4rd edition revival thread" is back on /tg/ for all your (dogshit) oldcron nostalgiasuch fucking whiners, jesus
>>744282059Good thing no Necron characters have done that huh
>>744281808This is so rightIt's just content padding
>>744281923Sure tranny, have another one from le wholesome crazy chungus Zahndrekh>Even if we all ceased to be flesh and blood millions of years ago, which of course I don’t believe for a moment,’ – Zahndrekh actually winked – ‘wouldn’t it have suited us better to live in denial of that, as some fools might say I had done? Wouldn’t it be better, Obyron, just to accept our fate, and enjoy immortality for the everlasting life of merry campaigning it has proved to be?"
DUDE WHAT IF THE MOST FEARED AND TERRIFYING FACTION IN WARHAMMER HAD QUIRKY PERSONALITY AND WERE ACTUALLY GOOFY PRANKSTERS LOL This is actual dialogue nucron fags will defend >Greetings, Orikan! I apologise for having to borrow back my astrarium. I know how deeply you appreciated it, but you work too hard, my astromancer. Consider this a relaxing break. And what is more relaxing than a hunt? These creatures are from an Imperial jungle planet, and so famous that the locals named their local regiment after them. Highly venomous - not that it would bother you, dear colleague - and can grow to over fifteen khut long when they reach maturity. But the real challenge is how quick they breed. In fact, I would recommend you start the pursuit quickly. Fourteen juveniles were in this particular gift. Or was it sixteen? Anyway, within twelve hours the population will have established roving kin groups to place their eggs. Did I forget to mention the eggs? Half of the breeding pairs already have sacs. The population will double in less than twenty-four hours, provided they don't eat too many of the young. Happy hunting!
>>744281973>>744282001Ok, now imagine its the 'Doom of Malan'tai' or the Swarm Lord saying it. Can you see how that might undermine the factions aesthetics and theme?
>>744282310Right so this is just pissy hyperbole if this is the worst you can come up with
>>744282310>>744282343Seething
>>744282359No, because its far easier to imagine undead talking than bugs
>>744281469Yeah but it did happen to the Oldcrons, which is my point. I'm just using the Tyranids to demonstrate the problem, and explain why people were upset.
>>744282124It's not whining when the new identity is so fucking bad that multiple people ITT call it outNucrons didn't have to be twee redditor tier slopTomb Kings in Spess just had to be written for adults I'm right to complain when I order food and am served shit
>>744282484All your raging complaints focus entirely on one character who basically just waxes poetically with a bit of a smile
>>744282343This appalling prose is likely from one of the now most recommended Warhammer books btw
>>744282484Not in this conversation but from what I understand 99.9% of necrons are still automatons in the sense that they have no personality, no free will, don't talk, etc. The lords or nobility cast are the ones that maintained some aspect of individuality. I'm guessing that's a 0.1% or so going by the imperium's nobility to pleb ratio, but I guess it depends on how their society was divided.Either way, it's a small percentage for basically only the named characters controlling hordes of terminators. Assuming that this understanding is not wrong, then it does come out as whining.
>>744282359Except it isn't Doom of Malan'tai or a swarmlord saying it. The person saying it is an immortal space techno wizard, and furthermore is an individual who was part of an actual civilization and not just a random mindless biomass form. You could say that any random line from literally any faction would sound dumb coming from a swarm lord, it's a completely nonsensical argument.
>>744282125Yapping, negotiating, having human motivations and desires, is the Necron equivalent of sucking lolipops and wearing onesies
>>744282708>Assuming that this understanding is not wrong, then it does come out as whining. It wouldn't if it wasn't so incessant and blown out of proportion. But the way that dude is rampaging about it, yeah.
>one necron comedy book gets published and is well received>secondaries are still mindbroken by it years later
>>744282798but it ain't sooo keep sooking over nothing
>>744270752this shit looks so assimagine making fucking CA and and the dumpster fire of total war look professional in comparison
It’s been 20 years. Let it go.
>>744282757The Necrons weren't those things either till the retcon. I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Imagine if the Tyranids were likewise retconned and the Doom of Malan'tai is now a immortal space bug wizard from some previous galaxy. I think the setting as a whole would be worse off for it
>>744282798>having human motivations and desiresYou keep using "human motivations" to mean having any motivations at all. By your logic, orks, eldar, and tau all have human motivations too.
>>744282660>It's not poorly written to chase a dying marvel tier trend>Okay it's shite but at least it was just one character and one book >Well so what if it's the most beloved black library edition and massively celebrated >You should just be grateful that there are more Necron Funkos than ever
>>744282861even if you ignore the secondaries it's still amazing how the book also mindbroke people who engage in the main hobby. There's a notable amount of ork players who will express their disdain for that book just because of how orks were depicted on it. Not even eldarfags get as buttblasted by other books whenever thay have to suffere from the ''writer's bias''
>>744282798It's not the issue with specific characters like Redditzyn existing, but that they can exist at all because Necrons are just metal humans now, so any character a human can have, be it a quippy jester or a badass killer, a Necron can have as well. As soon as Necrons were able to display the entire spectrum of human characters they became fucking BORING and all their magic was gone
>>744283056>it's reddit!!!>it's marvel!!!You should learn how to form an actual argument without resorting to spouting buzz words that have no actual meaning other than "thing I don't like"
>>744282798>Yapping, negotiating, having human motivations and desires, is the Necron equivalent of sucking lolipops and wearing onesiesAs if to demonstrate my point, you just want them to be like the heckin badass and cool silent terminator you saw in the 80's. Which is totally not cringe and gay but having any sort of character depth absolutely is.
>>744282343>muh grimdarkAnon warhammer is made to sell toys to children, this is fitting dialogue
>>744283024The key difference here is that tyranids have actual lore. Oldcrons were "literally nothing: the faction"
>>744283189I assume you know this and you're just shitposting because you are a shitposter at heart, but it's made to sell toys to men. Children are unlikely to have the amount of money it takes to build armies and for the majority of them they are also unlikely to convince their parents to spend that much on tabletop miniatures. I'm sure some do, but far from the main demographic.
Warhammer is mainstream and most people don't even play the tabletop gamesRelatable characters are what get pushed on Tiktok and Reddit for normies to consume Of course that has an effect on future depictions and further flanderization
Oldcrons still exist in the setting, you fucking idiots. Look into the empire of the severed.
>>744283152By that metric the only faction you should not completely hate is tyranids then. Is their hivemind being actively malicious and not just mindlessly looking for biomass too much character for you too?
>>744283054>By your logic, orks, eldar, and tau all have human motivations too.Correct. They do. You hit the nail on the head, you cut to the chase, you zeroed in on it like a heat-seeking missile - People can't write non-human characters. Because Necrons didn't yap, didn't display their motivations and desires on a plate for you to digest, your mind had to fill in the blanks on your own. The fucking nanosecond they opened their pieholes and poured their hearts out, it turned out they're just like humans. Because the people who write them can't write non-human characters
>>744283154>Ugh like just let people enjoy things???
>>744283152OK well then Eldar are just humans and so are Tau and Kroot and Orks
>>744282708But that 0.1% determines the whole factions goals and motivations. That's the real problem. The Necrons went from an unknowable eldritch horror to a bunch of petty bickering nobles. It might make them more interesting for people who play the faction, but the setting as a whole lost something with the retcon.
I do not give a fuck about overarching WH40k lore, not 'old' old, not 20 years old, not newI just like DoW1 Necrons more, simple as
>>744283430I don't hate other factions because the other faction did not start out like Tyranids or like Necrons, they were always the "relatable people" factions. Necrons being turned into people faction #42 was a loss to me, so yes only Tyranids remain that are in that niche
>>744283457>didn't display their motivations and desires on a plate for you to digest, your mind had to fill in the blanks on your own.So basically what you're telling me is that the real reason you're bitching is because your headcanon about the necrons turned out to be false.
>>744283362>expecting /v/ tertiaries to engages in 40k media that isn't videogameslmao
>>744283630I can just tell this guy is fag who spends all his money on gay bullshit
>>744283630You seem unfamiliar with the concept of the "unknown" and why people find it enticing. Do you have to be told everything like a MCU toddler?
>>744283808Damn bro you got him. He's a gay marvel fan. Unlike you, a badass and cool grognard mentally stuck in the 80's.
How were the motivations of oldcrons unknown? GW literally told us their whole shtick in their codex
>>744270752The primaris era is non-canon.
>>744283808Except people didn't find it enticing, they found it boring.>mentioning marvel againIt's funny how consistently your only argument is to keep screeching "REDDIT! MARVEL!" as if it means anything.
>>744283237>The key difference here is that tyranids have actual loreHow so? In the sense they've now been out longer than the Oldcrons so they've in more stories? The Nids are pretty much unchanged in theme and position in the setting. I'm curious, if their position were switched. And the Tryanids had been changed back then, instead of the Necrons. Do you think you'd still be here arguing in favor of the change?
>Necrons just teleport 'new', repaired model in>Instead of just standing up or reanimating on the fieldLame
>>744284021They literally showed up reanimations on the field in the trailer.
>>744282343Oldcrons were a peak Mary Sue faction, it's a good thing the C'tan were shattered
>>744283989You're just being an obtuse retard everyone knows what he means How you defend it says more about you desu
I understand where the necrons whiny dude is coming from, honestly. I just think I don't have the amount of autism necessary to go on a whiny crusade about it and I can see positives for both different forms of necrons. Also, when I think about actually playing them in DoW and Total War (eventually when they come in as a faction DLC) I would prefer my lords to actually not just be automatons.
Good thing the Orks never got retconned
>>744283362It's funny because even in the original Necron codex, there was mention of some Necrons retaining their minds. Which isn't much different from how it is now, where generally only the higher ranked Necrons still have minds. The actual retcon was the C'tan being shattered
>>744284147Yeah, I do also know perfectly well that he means "thing I don't like but have zero ability to actually articulate why"
>>744280168Name one movie better than Terminator 1 or Terminator 2.
>>744270752>Oldcron > Nucronwhy? genuinely asking
What are the best Necron books?
>>744284341because old good, new bad
>>744283989>Except people didn't find it enticing, they found it boring.I'll give you that, from a financial perspective nucrons were probably a great idea. Median IQ consoomcattle love to be able to greatly customize their little snowflake sub-factions with epic colorful characters. GW is a business, they made an adjustment to rake in more dough
>>744284021That's just passive reinforcement. It's like you niggers never even played a DoW game.
>>744284425>Everything must be vague and barebones references to other forms of media or else it is slop designed to maximize consumption
>>744271265>Where's the lumbering trudge with which they walked in Dow1?This is a post-SC2 strategy game, everything is made with competitiveness in mind and that utterly annihilates faction identity. It's "unfair" for Eldar guardians to easily hit and run the Necron warriors, so their speed can't be too far apart.Competitiveniggers ruin RTS games' coolness factor.
>>744284341Boomers that can’t accept change, contrarians and secondaries that only got introduced to Warhammer through DOW1 only prefer oldcrons. They’re in the vast minority.
>>744284282Collateral (2004)
What happened to>Big boom hits infantry>Everyone, except super heavy fuckers, flies across the entire screen
>>744284210Yeah. But Im sure if they were, there would be just as many retards here arguing in favor of it.
>>744284674Too hard to balance around in the off chance this game miraculously develops an e-sports scene and becomes a money printer for the devs :(
Admittedly, I have warmed up to certain parts of Nu-cron lore, especially parts where they are experimenting on living matter to try and reverse engineer what "life" is and certain stories tickled my fancy (Twice Dead King).Anyone who is trying to say it is a blueprint to make Tyranids more "interesting" are high as fuck.
>>744284674I haven't watched the trailers for the other factions so I can't say about them, but necrons have never been the "big boom" faction. The necron faction has exactly two weapons at their disposal, green lasers that have no impact, and green lightning that has no impact.
>>744280253as someone who used to feel that way you gotta understand nobody who argues for oldcrons plays tabletop or paints. It's a stance held purely by secondaries who at best play the video games and at worst just watch youtube lore videos
>>744284341>>744284402>>744284583The setting as a whole was more grim and oppressing, back when they're were an unknowable eldritch horror.
>>744284812Main monolith gun
>>744284812Nigga, the Monolith's death ray was the biggest boom in Dark Crusade.
>>744284361According to half the fags in this thread the wikipedia plot summary of the terminator movies.
>>744284478The point is there are no dead necron bodies reanimating, they just phase out and walk out of the ressurection gallery building
>>744284563I played the closed alpha and ad mech absolutely dab on the Necrons with their maneuverability Can't do map control for shit when your early mainline tech units are slow afScarab swarms aren't enough to offset this inherent disadvantage in my experience
>>744284836do we need two of those, we have tyranids
There are certain aspects of this I like, but there also doesn't seem to be enough "oomph" to compete with OG DoW for me. The original's best traits were that each faction felt unique enough that you could pick one to suit your style and that there was a lot of "Little touches" like the animations to make it feel like playing a battle in 40k.
>>744284826In al fairness watching a lore video is worth more than painting. Painting really doesn't aggregate anything to anything. A lore video might actually teach you something.Painting really is at the bottom of all 40k activities.
My question is why squads if they all act like a single unit? Even in Iron Harvest the squads opperated more individualistic. Even in general what's the point of squads when even in table top they aren't counted as a squad? Why not just make them all single units? It looks weird seeing a whole squad in perfect sync.
>>744285101I personally put modeling and painting hand in hand because it allows me to make <my_doods> for custom campaigns that I do with my friends that I write lore for after every battle based on what happened in the battle.
>>744284361Infinite and the DivineTwice Dead KingTomb World
>>744285038It was a completely different type of eldricht horror, they kinda complimented each other nicely, same as the C'tan complimented the Chaos gods by basically being gods of the material realm and Necron technological prowess not stemming from warp magic but pure mastery of the physical sciencesNow Necrons are in the club that has 50 members
>>744284341not the sperg who goes off in every fucking thread but the vague concept of an ancient people mindbroken after losing their souls and bodies with fractured minds attempting to rid every world of all life is pretty cool. Nucrons sand off alot of the horror aspect of the faction, while introducing alot of human emotions that are often played as a joke. Doesn't help when every media franchise in the last 30 years has been over time sanding away interesting or edgy aspects that could be seen as limiting to a mass audience, so the paranoia is valid, esp when you see some of the other bullshit GW keeps trying, i.e.>trying to kill off the funny sex god in TWO of their game settings (Warhammer in AoS, and 40k with the failed Ynarri plotline)>when not being generic enemies, having the orks play almost exclusively joke roles. this is abit of a waste considering the strength of grimdark parts of their lore (fungus impossible to stop spreading, torture and maiming for fun)>the Tau being a goody-two shoes faction when introduced, making people assume they were going to be the focus of the setting in a protagonist role, compared to the heckin problematic imperium (this was later retconned to mind-control being used to keep their empire in-line, and exploiting their naivety for hijinks like confusing craftworld and dark eldar) >more of a focus on individual characters rather than focusing on new lore for the setting as a whole. the push towards character drama and personalities again taking away from the inhumanity and grimdark aspects of the settingtl:dr most of the actual grimdark stuff is old lore, and people are weary when everything they keep adding including nucrons makes the setting lighter and just a little more gay
>>744284878That's how it was in DoW1 too. Necrons didn't have any building or training animations. They just appeared, same with reinforcement. The trailer showed dead necrons coming back did you watch the trailer?
>>744285038They were similar in a sense but ultimately different flavors of eldritch horror. Whether or not or not we needed two of them I guess is a matter of option. I'd say yeah for a setting like 40k
>>744285258We're talking about reanimation, not reinforcements
>>744284361taste is subjective but these are the books that always get mentioned when people ask for Necron books to read:The trifecta of recommendations >Twice-Dead King duology>The Infinite and the Divine (there's a sequel by the same author coming out soon)>Severed (Novella)other necron related content you might wanna check out>The Word of the Silent King (short story but more of a Blood Angels book in which Dante meets the Silent King while fighting Tyranids) >War in the Museum (short story about Trazyn the Infinite)>Bleeding Stars (more Trazyn short story)>Tomb World (a more recent release but kinda meh book)There's other books in which you can find more Necrons but some of them are part of a series of books (like pic related) in which Necrons aren't the main featured faction so that's up to you whether you wanna get into them or not
>>744285258No, you're confusing reinforcing squads for power with dead squad members (on the ground) randomly resurrecting and rejoining it free of charge. There is no such mechanic in dow4 as necrons don't leave bodies behind
>>744285582Necrons reinforce (replenish fallen units) for free in contrast to the other factions that have to pay resources and can toggle on or off In effect they are always healing and sometimes this happens in a big spurt to mimic resurrection but you're right that the main function is the resurrection gallery Much less exciting
>they made a DoW after SSWHY DID NOBODY TELL ME THIS!?
didnt devs said they would improve the visual clarity few weeks ago?
>>744287519I think (and hope) that this trailer was made in 2025 and so does not show progress (if any was made). All the cinematic trailers have been made last year based on reused clips
