Also you don't have as much to manage or strategize about as in normal SR. Area getting congested? Use your mobiltiy gadget then your aoe gadget boom done. You can even kill floppers, drizzlers, and steelheads without even waiting for their weak points and you don't need the specific piercing weapons for it like you do in SR.

To be honest, I just didn't like Raiders. It reminded me of every singleplayer campaign in previous Splatoon titles. Too easy, I feel no investment because there's no challenge. Plus the storywriting is pretty terrible. Nintendo and their subsidiaries really should just stick to gameplay. Their affinity for storytelling is terrible.

The floor 97-99 maps are far harder, but the starting spawns are guaranteed so you can practice how to more efficiently clear it. And they supposedly give better drops because of the higher level.Lower bottomless floors have even higher levels but all the spawns are random, so there's no guarantee you get seasoned bosses. Some people are suggesting there's a cap to how much level affects drop rates so level 97-99 is as good as it gets, but that's just guesswork.

I’m getting into like floor 60-70, and I think I've finally found my first real issue with the game. The dps checks here get stringent, and the only progression left is really costly and specific to individual weapons and gadgets. Really feels like I’ll have to commit to a loadout to get through to 100 without things getting too tedious. Which is a shame, cause I’ve been enjoying switching between my six saved loadouts and tweaking as I go

For both, would you prefer heavy or light, and then prefer a primo for fire rate or AOE? My primo5 heavy brella with high spread feels gimped for single target damage.

finished it and made it to bottomless ~40great game overall.one thing I'd add is different objective types when it comes to dealing with Salmonids. "kill everything and collect power eggs" is a great default. but an occasional tower defense round, "get to the chopper" round, etc. would go a long way. It would also do a lot to make weapon types that don't do well in the current system occasional moments of viability.even Salmon Run has some modifiers sprinkled in (Grillers, high fog, low tide, etc.)Admittedly it is hard to get just right, a forced stealth mission or Rainmaker section could kill the pacing too, but I trust they have enough experience by now to make it fun.and yes it is primarily a single player game but I still think more variety would've elevated the Bottomless grind from a 7/10 to a 9/10
