>>744541926I think what could differentiate it from other social media nowadays is that it's almost purely about video games and it's easy to find topics about specific games you like made by random people. Normal social media your posts are lost in the sea of everything and nobody cares unless you're already established, but on Miiverse you could post a little little thing from a play session and get a few people noticing it at least. Like sure youd wouldn't see as many kids saying silly things or being awkward, but there's more to it than that as a platform.

>>744517837I actually know what youre talking about because i had the same problem. You had your account loaded on multiple switches and had your switch set as the primary shystem. My wife has a switch so i did it to share dlc and load up animal crossing on both systems, but you could also load up digital games on multiple systems. What was happening was nintendo needed to check to make sure only one instance of the game was being played at a time. I used to just connect to my phone for a minute to verify, but it was a pain and obviously shunned for flights. This is no longer an issue. Nintendo uses virtual game carts for all digital switch / 2 games now so it acts like a cart is always in so no more online checks. The only reason it would be removed is if you lend the digital game to someone in your family group.
