Yesterday I played Dawn of the Monsters and beat it. It's not a bad game, but it's heavily lacking in sauce. Also, it was story-focused, which is odd because it was a beat-em-up. And the writing was weird because it felt like it was from a kids' show, but it maintained a tone that was trying to be mature and dark. A disconnect that really took me out of it. Also, I learned that Super Mario Bros Remastered got an update and played a bit of that.I don't know what I'm gonna play today yet.

Passing the time with Pathogenic until Hellslave comes out tomorrow.I'm digging Pathogenic a lot but it has the same issue I have with every roguelite, in that the gameplay's good, the music's great, the bossfights are great, but it's clearly like 30 minutes of content that's being very barely stretched out into a dozen hour game and at some point I just wish the game was some pure level based twin stick shooter instead of a roguelite. Like i've finished it three times already and I'm at my end, I've seen just about every weapon, tried every build I could think of and outside of the achievements mentioning experiments and me not getting lucky enough to be able to reach the brain on a successful run I'm just not feeling up to replaying it 4 more times per pathogen then another 3 more times to max out the antibody levels.
