I think I’m giving up on trying to make this work. The idea is cool but because of the way damage conversion works, none of the good gear for trozan’s sky shard is useful and there’s not really any chaos equivalents to make up for that many skill levels lost. Might instead try doing Spark of Reality for chaos devastation. Idk just anything to get a cool chaos conversion caster going.
All the gods except for Mogdrogen and Rhowan are all evil little bitches. Ulzuin solely excepted because he had a very good reason for turning evil.

You'll also need about 3000 OA if your on a crit reliant build or if you're insane you can run 4500 OA liek one of my builds does so you'll never have to worry about accuracy again. If you don't have it, one of the ring powders you can get from a maxed out Devils Crossing faction (I think it's survivors ingenuity IIRC) gives 2% OA and can be used on both rings + thee amulet. It could help you a lot.

They should do some kind of pass so that epics have some functionality. It's weird how MIs and even some non-MI rares are competitive while there're a massive amount of level 94 epics that have such a miniscule window of use that's exactly "when you get your first character to 94 before you replace them and then never look at them again on any future characters"

>>744574528Kinda. The issue is that SR as a game mode exists to farm gears for the most part, it doesn't have any new mechanic like ascending your gears. So it does make sense that Ascendant is harder than some of the SR stuff, making it quite a spike from Ultimate.

Totem farming is still extremely profitable for a long ass time.So, the thing is, you aren't directly meant to leap from ultimate into ascendant, but it's not strictly gating you out either. I'm just talking hypothetical but if I nuke my saves (i have done it a few times) for a fresh start, I'd farm totems a few days and sort out the full sets I can build from them (you get tons of recipes from farming totems, it's not competitive with SR or Nemesis but when your account is fresh it's very likely you get a lot of them), then fill the remaining slot with some half assed MI for the build.This, I'm sure, can advance through Ascendant as long as I don't buff it further with the altar. Tempest totems are probably off limit simply because they are really slow. But the rest should be mostly fine and I can loot from replesnant trolves or ascendant troves while doing dungeons.The issue of course is that there will be a bunch of knowledge check to get there, so it's not a pure "ultimate to ascendant" leap as people would expect new players to do, but I still think it's viable.

How do you like the faction system? I like that after a while, mobs get more aggressive since you killed so many of them. It's cute.

But they nerfed Fabius' drop a long time ago.Also, even if you consider Fabius, the chance that you encounter a Nemesis is very high. Going through Cronley's Den is often enough to get Fabius or his new Nemesis boyfriend to spawn. So it's a win win as long as you learn not to aggro any thing that might kill you.
