>Sniper repeatedly getting spawned between enemy Shotgun and AR
>Big ass map but also dense as fuck so Sniper can't do anything in the event that they do spawn far away from action
>E:N side has tons of half covers
>"Defend" a spot while enemy has Rocket Launcher
>Also E:N reinforcements mid-way
>You have 4 units that are put in their extreme sub-optimal environment and counters
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
I'M GOING INSANE
seriously how do i beat this mission? any tips for these "defend" maps?

Is 1 still better than 2?

it's a good game, and excellent music, even more so with RED
it's just sometimes the OG Campaign gives you these missions with absolute dogshit conditions that make you question your sanity

1 feels more "complete", because everything is consistent in its presentation.
I've only been playing Skirmish in 2, but the command menu looks like your typical developer UI.
however, 2 is better in setting up units/moves, and obviously better in game engine technology - you can play at 4k with good UI scaling, etc.
