the direction they took the combat in all of their games past 2 was just bizarre. you go from dropping guys with 2-3 to the chest or a simple headshot, to having to fuck with dancing bullet sponges every single goddamn fight. and it got so bad in the reboot that you started have to perform finishers on enemies or something? good lord.i have no idea what sort of infection settled into their brain that ALL of their games had to be like this.

Saints Row 4 could've been a return to Stilwater with a new story about taking back their home town as it fell to (even deeper) shit in their absence, retaining all the goofy fun of Saints Row 3 but still keeping it at least somewhat grounded. Instead we got gangster president versus shakespearean alien overlord and it was executed in the most milquetoast manner.
