There was one point where a bunch of monkeys attacked me and I got the choice, after beating them, to either let it go or keep it and sell it as a slave or meal lol. You can negotiate with wild animals to get them to stop attacking you, too, which is funny. Seems like it might turn out to be a fun and comfy game playing as a merchant. It's kinda going for a spice and wolf: the game vibe
Also, any good and proper merchant games I should be aware of? Not knowledgeable at all about this niche
>>744549284I'm slightly more knowledgeable but it's not my scene either. Recettear is the one that gets the most praise on /v/ though what percentage of that is memes depends on the day. Merchant of the Six Kingdoms, Final Profit, Horizon's Gate, and Merchant of the Skies are others names I've seen floating around. Moonlighter is pretty anemic but exists.
